A estas alturas de la jugada GENITORTURERS ya no necesitan introducción ya que son simplemente la banda más sexy de Rock Industrial del planeta. Fundados en Florida durante 1991 por su cantante principal Gen, los estadounidenses alcanzaron pronto el reconocimiento de la escena al unirse su marido David 'Evil D'Vincent de MORBID ANGEL durante el lanzamiento de su disco debut. En su segundo trabajo "Sin City" (1998) levantaron olas de controversia gracias a sus espectaculares shows fetichistas de BDSM, editando posteriormente un tercer disco (Machine Love, 2000) tras el que decidieron realizar un parón. Este "Blackheart Revolution", los sitúa de nuevo a la cabeza de la escena estadounidense de industrial metal y rock electrónico con influencias de hardcore punk.

THE ROYAL DEAD fueron la primera banda de JAPAN GOTH en fichar por el sello argentino TWILIGHT RECORDS. Su música es un combinado de electro y dark wave c on el habitual toque "japonés", que en este caso son violines y dos voces femeninas. Han sido grupo revelación en la revista Orkus, logrando presentar su convincente directo en Europa y Estados Unidos. En cualquier caso es importante indicar que THE ROYAL DEAD no suena como el resto de bandas de J- goth como Moi Dix Moi, Dir en grey, etc, ya que esta formación es simplemente gothic electro con elementos neoclásicos.
