Tercer volumen de la serie limitada de LEAETHER STRIP, en la que se incluye una edición completamente remasterizada del disco original mas un buen montón de extras. "Retention No. 3" incluye el disco "Solitary Confinement" remasterizado por el propio Claus Larsen, el EP "Material", y el CD "Voluntary Confinement" con 10 elegidos del primer disco, completamente reescritos y regrabados, incluyendo además dos temas nuevos: "Voluntary Confinement" y "The AEnd", y como extra una versión de "Taeknopop" melódico del tema "Strap Me Down". "Solitary Confinement" es sin duda el disco que elevó al danés al trono más alto del EBM oscuro, la electrónica agresiva y las voces distorsionadas.
