Este disco de largo nombre podría muy bien incorporar el subtítulo: 15 temas regrabados y remasterizados por Krischan Wesenberg de ROTERSAND. El cerebro de GLIS, Shaun Frandsen nos ofrece algo completamente novedoso dentro de la escena electrónica oscura: Lo que ha hecho básicamente junto al mencionado Krischan de ROTERSAND ha sido elegir cuidadosamente 15 temas, cambiar su estructura, cortar fragmentos de las canciones y unir estos fragmentos a canciones distintas, añadiendo nuevos elementos y efectos musicales, volviendo irreconocibles las primeras versiones de los temas. EL año 2005 supuso el exitoso retorno a primera línea de fuego de Claus Larsen y su vehículo electrónico LEAETHER STRIP, siendo el 2006 el año elegido para la reactivación de su proyecto paralelo KLUTAE, a través del cual el genio danés del electro/industrial expresa su más extravagantes y atormentadas fantasías. Claus Larsen lanzó este proyecto a primeros de los 90 bajo el nombre de KLUTE, cambiándolo posteriormente a KLUTAE para que no se le pudiera confundir con un proyecto drum n´ bass del mismo nombre, con el cual no tiene nada que ver. Este MCD está compuesto por sonidos guitarreros agresivos, humor negro irreverente y electrónica distorsionada que lo emparentan con animales del calibre de FEAR FACTORY, BILE o SWAMP TERRORISTS o MINISTRY.

THE PLEASURE OF PENETRATION, editado originalmente en 1990 fue el primer paso en la larga y prolífica carrera de LEAETHER STRIP. Este disco debut supuso un refrescante y excitante soplo de aire dentro del panorama electrónico de los 90, llevando al sello por el cual se editó (Zoth Ommog) al estatus de culto. Esta edición especial “Retention n°1” incluye dos discos complementarios: “The Pleasure Of Penetration”, remasterizado por el mismo Claus Larsen, el cual le ha proporcionado un sonido más contundente, respetando en todo momento el sonido original, ampliando el tracklist hasta 15 temas al añadirle rarezas editadas en su día en forma de single y “Pleasure Of Reproduction 2007” que contiene 10 seleccionados del primer CD, completamente regrabados y reinterpretados por LEAETHER STRIP en el 2007. El apocalíptico retorno de LEAETHER STRIP en el 2005 de nuevo en stock. Mucho más fuertes que nunca, este disco irrumpió en la escena dark industrial dando una patada en el culo a todos los advenedizos que pululaban por la escena durante ese año. Claus Larsen es un músico excepcional que ha explorado a través de su larga carrera casi todos los géneros dentro de la electrónica (EBM agresivo con voz distorsionada, tremendas orquestaciones introspectivas y Dark Synth Pop entre otros muchos), siendo este EP un compendio de todos ellos. "Suicide Bombers" es sin duda uno de los temas EBM más duros compuestos por Claus, cargado de pensamientos políticos sin compromenterse con nadie. Si escuchas este trabajo te darás cuenta de que casi todos los grupos de la escena actual han copiado de una u otra forma el estilo de LEAETHER STRIP.

TRISOMIE 21 pertenecen a la primera generación de músicos involucrados en el movimiento de electrónica fría junto a bandas del calibre de Front 242, Neon Judgement ,Tuxedomoon, The Young Gods, etc. Formados originalmente en 1980 por los hermanos Hervé y Philippe, la formación francesa estuvo originalmente influenciada por sonidos Cold wave típicos de bandas como The Cure, Joy Division, Durutti Column etc, evolucionando hasta los sonidos electrónicos que les han hecho famosos. Este CD se edita con motivo del 25 aniversario de la banda, reeditando para la ocasión este directo titulado “Rendez-vous en France” grabado originalmente durante su última gira denominada “Happy Mystery tour” y que es realmente lo más parecido a un recopilatorio o “best of” que ha editado la banda.
