Born in Madrid in 1981 by two young men (Eduardo Benavente, guitar, and Nacho Canut, bass), both from Pegamoides, Parálisis Permanente was the very first spanish Goth Punk/Deathrock/Post Punk band ever. With heavy influences from Killing Joke they decided to jump into darkness, along with Eduardo´s brother Javier (vocals) and Nachos´brother Johnny (drums) recordind a first demo tape. After a short time, Javier left the band and Eduardo became their frontman releasing a couple of singles (DRO). In 1982, bass guitar is provided by Rafa Balsameda (Glutamato ye-ye, Derribos Arias) improving their sound with talented sexy keyboardist Ana Curra (Alaska y los Pegamoides). It was the year of "El acto", their one and only LP, and "Nacidos para Dominar" single (1983), true masterpieces and reall gems. Sadly that same year Eduardo Benavente tragically died in car crash achieving a cult status. This CD includes the whole singles released by the band, as well as a never released before 6 tracks demo tape.
