Funker Vogt's eighth longplayer "Blutzoll" (October 2010) finally available again! Lovingly put together as a new collector's edition, the double Digipak contains all the tracks and bonus tracks of the original CD, as well as the maxi CD "Arising Hero". As a special extra there are 3 previously unreleased, exclusive remixes. And of course, everything was remastered personally by Funker Vogt mastermind Gerrit Thomas.

About Blutzoll:

Funker Vogt consistently walked their way with this album in 2010 - again without skimping on variations in terms of tempo and sound design. What is more striking, however, is that on "Blutzoll" they have placed great value on the core of the songs themselves. Largely without the conventional, long stretched sound passages known from Funker Vogt, for the first time the focus is primarily on the song structures themselves, which makes the individual pieces seem much more intense, so that on "Blutzoll" more than ever one or the other catchy tune is available right from the first listen gets stuck in the ear. In this respect, they also wanted to break away from the conventional naming of the last three studio albums ("Survivor", "Navigator" and "Aviator") and usher in a new and more informal era suitable for the new decade.

With "Arising Hero" the final part of the Hero trilogy is presented. It chronologically follows the two predecessors "Tragic Hero" and "Fallen Hero" and thus brings that trilogy to a worthy conclusion. Although it was never planned that each part should be a single, it finally happened by chance – this chapter was definitely closed with "Arising Hero".

"Blutzoll" is very compact, yet multi-layered and once again more mature than all of the previous albums, without diminishing them. Funker Vogt sound like Funker Vogt - just a little bit better! “Blutzoll” is still up to date 13 years after publication and remastered it sounds even better now!
